Gregory S. McGowan

Prior to joining Quarton Partners, Mr. McGowan worked at W.Y. Campbell & Company and Deloitte and Touche Corporate Finance LLC. Mr. McGowan earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in finance from Michigan State University and a master’s of business administration with high distinction from the University of Michigan, where he was a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He is a licensed securities representative, holding his Series 7, 63 and 79 registrations.

Alexander J. Schroeder
(Birmingham Office)

Prior to Quarton Partners, Mr. Schroeder worked at W. Y. Campbell & Company and Duff & Phelps. Mr. Schroeder graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is a licensed securities representative, holding his Series 63 and 79 registrations.

David Weber
(Birmingham Office)

Mr. Weber has more than 30 years of financial and operations management experience in the distribution, manufacturing and service industries. Prior to joining Quarton Partners, Mr. Weber was a senior consultant with CDS, Inc., coordinating ERP system implementations, consulting in financial performance and process reengineering. He held the position of vice president of finance with Homedics, Inc., a home health products manufacturer and distributor, and was vice president of finance with CCA, Inc, a promotional products distributor. Mr. Weber was also controller for Helm, Inc., with operating divisions in contract assembly and shipping, promotional products distribution, and marketing and fulfillment of automotive service manuals. He began his career with Plante & Moran serving on the audit and consulting staff. Mr. Weber graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University, and earned a master’s of business administration from the University of Michigan.

Kai Zhang

Mr. Zhang co-founded TX Investment Consulting Co. Ltd. where grew the company to one of the largest institutional investment consulting firms in China. In addition, Mr. Zhang has published more than 50 professional articles and books, including Winning the Merger Endgame: A Playbook for Profiting from Industry Consolidation, After the Merger: The Authoritative Guide for Integration Success, Best Practices in Global Investor Relations: The Creation of Shareholder Value, and Cash Flow and Security Analysis.

Helen Zhao

Ms. Zhao worked with Nokia (China) Investment Corporation and TX Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. Most recently, Ms. Zhao advised a leading state-owned Chinese conglomerate on one of the largest acquisitions of a US-based company by a Chinese acquirer. Ms. Zhao graduated from California State University, Los Angeles, where she earned a master’s of business administration in finance.

Yue “Rita” Du

Miss Du worked at the China Minsheng Banking Corporation (CMBC). She was previously a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkley and her papers have been published in Chinese periodicals such as the China Economic Weekly, Economic Journal and the Journal of Macro Economic Management. Ms. Du graduated from Peking University in Beijing, China with a bachelor’s degree in economics and is a master’s candidate in international economics.

Ryan W. Donahue

Prior to Quarton Partners, Mr. Donahue worked for Forest Health Services, LLC.  Mr. Donahue earned a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics and Management from Albion College.

Yates Campbell
(Birmingham Office)

Prior to joining Quarton Partners, Mr. Campbell worked at Huron Capital Partners. Mr. Campbell graduated from Babson College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a concentration in finance.

Julia Oody
(Birmingham Office)

Prior to joining Quarton Partners, Ms. Oody worked as a finance associate for a state political organization. Ms. Oody graduated from Wayne State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies.

Allison Hoover
(Birmingham Office)

Prior to joining Quarton Partners, Ms. Hoover was an office manager and project coordinator for the USDA Forest Service’s International Program. Ms. Hoover is a graduate of Trinity College.
